We’d like to welcome Raj Pillay as our new Board Member, based in Melbourne. Raj is Senior Legal Counsel at National Australia Bank, and specialises in commercial litigation and regulatory investigations.
‘I joined the board of The Footpath Library because I am passionate about mental health and social change and the two concerns work well to combat homelessness,’ said Raj. ‘I was inspired by the purpose and mission of The Footpath Library and so I was keen to contribute and make a difference.’
Raj is a book lover who recognises the power of storytelling and the value of reading, particularly for the younger generation.
‘I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of The Footpath Library and to help enrich the lives of those experiencing homelessness through the companionship of books.’
