Each year The Footpath Library’s Sydney and Brisbane branches take part in Homeless Connect, a one day event bringing together people who are homeless and at risk of homelessness with free support services from business and community groups.
A day at Homeless Connect offers a hearty lunch; housing and employment assistance; health checks, doctor, dentist, optometrist, massages, eye-checks; child support agencies; free clothing & footwear; pet care; internet and phone services; books; legal services; counselling; showers & haircuts; music, games and entertainment; and lots lots more.
